Find a Wholesale Supplier

If you look at the manufacturing market you can clearly understand how manufacturers, wholesalers, suppliers, retailers and consumers are linked up. It is a chain basically with various active nodes. Each of the nodes, in turn, is connected to many other nodes.

The marketplace is a network of various processes. The control flows from one node to other to complete the chain. Manufacturer collects raw materials, design and develops products, involves industry experts to get the things finished and sells the products to the wholesalers or retailers. Consumers are at the end of the process.

Once a product reaches to the next entity in the chain, few bucks are added to the manufacturing cost. Hence, higher a product travels to reach the retailer or consumer, greater is the cost. What if you eliminate some nodes and obtain the finished product in bulk before it traverses lot?

It is good to buy things in bulk as it saves you money. Wholesale products come at lesser price. When you buy hundred units of a product from the wholesaler, you get the bunch at much lower amount than per unit maximum retail price.

If you are a retailer, you can make huge profit by selling those items directly to the consumers through your own outlet. Suppliers who sell products to retailers can also earn good amount of money by simply connecting the retailers with the manufacturers or wholesalers.

Now that's a lucrative option. You do nothing, simply act as a mediator and make profit. Who does not want to get such a career? As a result a lot of people try to enter into the supply chain to become a supplier; a supplier to another supplier Or to retailer.

When the maximum retail price is fixed and hundred people are involved in the supply chain, per head earning goes down. And, if all those are participating in the process wish to make a certain amount of profit, the cost of the product goes high.

Hence, if you are a retailer, you can increase your profit by contacting the wholesalers directly to buy products at lesser amount. And if you are a consumer, you can save a lot of money by buying your commodities from wholesalers or suppliers.

However, consumers may not always be able to enjoy the benefit as a lot of wholesalers ask for trade license. Bulk buying from retail outlets can bring them some saving in that case.

But retailers do not have this limitation. They can always enjoy benefits of bulk buying from the first person in the supply chain. But for this you have to find out a wholesale supplier who sells products in bulk as manufacturers may not have the legal right to sell products. How to do this? It's quite obvious that your supplier would not tell you the source. Hence, you have to find it yourself.

You can go online and search for wholesale suppliers. Whatever products you are going to buy, just get yourself a wholesale supplier or wholesale distributor and see if you can purchase things at a lesser amount or not. If you are into jewelry business, look for wholesale jewelry supplier and if you are interested in leather goods, search for a wholesaler who sells leather products.
